Last year I interviewed over 50 influential women in the hemp wellness space on Instagram Live. When preparing graphic assets for each interview, we noticed that less than 10% of the women we interviewed had professional headshots to share.

As intentional feminine beings, we breathe life into everything we create and our story is what separates us from the rest. Women need to represent Womxn—rather than the often oversexualized masculine point of view. It is essential that female founders share the story behind our brands, what we stand for, and lean on transparency to find our tribe.

This Saturday, April 10th, I’m joining forces with Tokeativity coined "the Beehive of Actives" by the Rolling Stone, for a digital event featuring speed networking brought to you by Women Empowered in C a n n a b i s, guest speakers & sesh rooms like Black Women & C a n n a b i s, Cannamoms, Hemp Talk, Movement, Live Podcast Recordings, Conversations about Plant Medicine, Self Healing, Virtual photo booth & more!

Join me at 3:30 for my talk on Photography & Weed—Changing the Narrative for Womxn I will share my entrepreneurial journey from behind the scenes as a long-time consumer, artist, and founder of MJ Lifestyle. We will discuss where the two intersect and the significance of communicating your message effectively. I will offer tips on how to get into the hemp space as an artist or entrepreneur as well as pointers on visually connecting with your consumers.
